If you're hungry/starving you will not enjoy the wait. The place is fairly new so still has a ways to go as far as service. The food is good, many many choices. The hostess was cordial and professional, it was quite busy and she tried hard to make it right. The wait was wayyyyy too long. The food was good. If they shorten it, it will make it worth it.

Excellent Spanish food, friendly down-to-earth staff, classy mom-and-pop ambience. Crossed the street to dine here after we missed our train by a few minutes and ended up taking it slow and enjoying a nice meal. I had a superb mix of mashed plantain in delicious gravy-like sauce (garlic-styled or creole) with a choice of protein. A unique dish packed with flavor in every bite. Dining partner had the fried fish fillet, which was thinly breaded flavorfully and fried just right. Simple but so satisfying. The dipping sauce for the complimentary chips was also wonderful.

Did not dine in ordered through uber eats. Food took 1 hr and 20 min to prepare which is ridiculuos considering the poor quality. Full details itemized below. My order Lemonade- Missing from order 3 beef empanadas- 2 were missing only received 1. The only food item that had no flaws. It wasnt bad but it wasnt great either 1 order yellow rice- luke warm and clearly not made to order. Looks like they make a big batch at a time and probably keep it in a heating tray. Hard grains throughout 1 order beans- arrived stone cold. Mostly liquid almost no actual beans in it. Meh on taste 1 order fried pork belly- mostly ok but had a few bits that were hard as rocks and completely inedible (about 85% were edible and pretty good) had 2 lime wedges that looked petrified and old sitting on top of it. The ONLY item that looked to be made to order. Now since only the Pork Belly was actually made at the time of my order why did the food take 1 hr 20 min to prepare????? Never eating here again. If I was actually at the restaurant and received this food I would have walked out mid meal. Completely unacceptable.
